Why Preparation Matters

Accurate slip resistance results depend on consistent surface condition. If a tile arrives chipped, unlabelled, or freshly coated without curing time, the data won’t reflect how the surface performs in service. That means re-testing, extra freight, and wasted time.

The Zerofal Prep Checklist

1. Correct Size

• ☐ Supply tiles or surface samples of at least 200mm x 200mm.
• ☐ Supply five (5) different specimens of the same material.
• ☐ Larger samples (e.g. 500mm) are preferable where available.

2. Labelling

3. Cleaning
